Yabu - DUET 2007/01
I'm really poor at this theme. The appointment would be under the largest Christmas tree in the metropolitan area. The sky full of stars. My girlfriend would get there and wait. Being embarrassed and not receiving any present in return, I would like to transfer the same energy and enthusiasm to her. First of all, we would go out to eat something. Because I'd be really embarrassed in a sticky Christmas date, I'd take my partner to a usual place to have a meal. So, we would spend some good time together, having lots of fun, and then we would say "bye bye" and go home to sleep. But, on the way back home, I realize: "Well, even tough I gave her a present, she did not give me any…" Then, my cell phone rings and it's my girlfriend. "Shit!" I think and I say in a bad-humor voice "Moshimoshi, I'm on the subway right now, so I'll turn it off ok?" she says "Wait, please. Inside your pocket, take a look!" I put my hand inside my pocket and there is a present in there. The time when I put the necklace in my girlfriend, she put my present inside there, softly, without I noticing it. Then, in a great excitement, I come back home. Oshimai! (End) In the past (when he was a child would be better, ne), I used to decorate the tree and sing Christmas songs, my whole family used to have dinner together and eat pizza and chicken, but nowadays it's not like that anymore. When I was a shougaku student (8 years old to 12 years old, more or less), I was happy just to find presents inside my shoes ne. Which reminds me of that, a long time ago, my older brother and I used to sleep in a bunk and we wanted to see our presents really early in the morning, so we said to each other "Let's wake up at 5 in the morning". And then, in the next day, we both woke up early to check our presents. When you see that you received a rare game, Christmas becomes special ne. This year (2006) I'll have to work, and then I think I'll go home to watch the Christmas special program. Well, would you also join me in this kind of Christmas?
